Tables

Since ExpressMRP tends to simplify everything, there are only few tables that must be filled with data:

Products - list of products, with defined base quantities. "Base Quantity" is the quantity for which bill of material is defined.

Boms (Bills Of Materials) - list of components for current product, with specified base quantities.
"Base Quantity" is the quantity of the components required for the base quantity of the product.

Stocks - list of warehouse stocks of components. You can enter one row for a material or many rows for a material.
It doesn't matter, since ExpressMRP will always use it's sum for MRP calculations.

Orders - this is additional table, not reuired. You can define list of orders and quantities to be produced and use it in MRP calculation
instead of list of products. Generally, you will not edit this list manually, but import it from your ERP system.

All tables are stored in CSV format with .txt extension, in format suitable for MightyQuery SQL database management system for flat files.

By using MightyQuery, you can extend functionalities of ExpressMRP.

Data is saved to CSV tables only when exiting application, or when you click "Save Session" button in Import Data page. Otherwise, data is stored in memory.
